TOPSoccer
An opportunity for
all children with disabilities to play soccer
TOPS,
The Outreach Program for Soccer, serves disabled youth soccer players ages 6
to 16. Offered by the Winchester Soccer Club, this program provides an
opportunity for all children with disabilities to play soccer through rule
and equipment adaptation. A volunteer group of “junior coaches” serve as
one-on-one buddies with a TOPS athlete to provide guidance and support while
performing soccer exercises, playing in a game and sharing a Popsicle and
happy conversation at the end of the session.
